On the Applications of Information Theory to Physics

I’ve attached an updated draft of what is in effect a summary of the work I’ve been doing applying information theory to physics, that I thought some of you would find interesting, given the popularity of my work on the connections between information theory and artificial intelligence.

Despite the imposing title, the attached note is actually a straightforward explainer that a computer scientist or mathematician with almost no background in physics will have no trouble understanding. In fact, it arguably doubles as a quick explainer on what are in my opinion some very interesting issues in physics.
